Blue Hawaiian Goat Milk Soap - Children's Day

Every July during the Central PA Festival of the Arts there is a Children's and youth day festival the day before the Festival begins. This past year the kids participated and they are participating again this year.
They have about 20 bar soaps, soap cupcakes and lip balms planned.
Here is a video of one of the soaps that will be available there.

Benefits of Using Handmade Goats Milk Soap

Benefits of Using Handmade Goats Milk Soap

~ Its Real Soap - Unlike store bought commercial soaps that are packed with detergents and synthetic agents that dry out your skin, handmade soap has no added chemicals or detergents.

~ Ingredients - All of our soaps are made with luxurious oils, butters and all natural additives (oatmeal, clays) that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are essential for healthy skin.

~ Glycerin - Glycerin is not added to homemade soap, it is created during the soap making process. Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture to your skin and its has been proven to be beneficial to your skin. Commercial soap companies extract glycerin from their soaps to use in their higher price skin care lines. Handmade soap retains all its glycerin producing a rich and luxurious bar of soap.

~ Goats Milk - The #1 reason for using Goats Milk Soap. We use only fresh goats milk in our soaps. Goat milk is wonderful for people with dry skin or other skin conditions. It contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids to help remove dead skin cells from your skin's surface, leaving your skin smoother and younger looking. It also contains many vitamins and minerals that help repair damaged skin tissue and maintain a healthy skin, it has also been proven to help reduce acne. Regular use of goat milk soap will make a huge difference in the way your skin feels.

New Soap Room!

Lots of changes are happening here at Whitetail Lane Farm Homemade Goats Milk Soap! One of the biggest changes is the addition of our soap room. When we started making our soaps back in the spring of 2013, we were making everything in our kitchen and curing and storing soaps in the dining room. Our house is not very big and soaps were overflowing onto the dining room table, laundry room and anywhere else that we could find space. Once wreath season was complete, Nathan spent a weekend turning our storage room into a soap room.

We now have a dedicated storage space for packaged soaps. I hope to add more shelving to this. After the holiday rush they are a bit empty.
Curing racks
Counter space

Storage for small fragrance oil bottles, colorants, packaging supplies and additives.
Mold and container storage. We spent a day mixing up a master batch of our recipe and storing it in storage bags that can be heated to melt the oils.
Shelving to hold fragrance oils, oils, additives and other supplies.
